I wanted to see how close I could get to the tulip stamen. I used my Panasonic G1 camera with the 45-200mm lens set to 170mm and the Raynox 250 macro clip-on lens attached. Took three shots and focused stacked them in Helicon. The width of all the stamens you see was 7mm. That's pretty close!
