Spider vs Wasp Queen

Spotted a queen wasp flying around a variagated holly bush and went round to see if I could find it. It had landed on some ivy on the fence but had got tangled in some spider's web. The owner immediately appeared and much to my suprise went to attack the wasp. The spider grabbed the wasp's wing and had a tug of war for about 50 seconds. The queen then turned round and bit the spider on a leg whereupon the spider decided enough was enough and let the wasp go. The wasp did eventually free itself and flew off apparently unharmed.

Gatto - took 9 shots altogether but the last 3 were a focus stack attempt for the retreating spider (only used 2 of them)
