Pretty Hot For A 10-Year-Old

Now that everyone thinks I'm a creeper deluxe because of the title, let me explain.

This is a friend of mine that just celebrated her 10th birthday. She wanted a few shots for her "archives". 10th birthday you say? Well, technically yes, she was born on February 29th. So, chronologically you need to multiply by four. :D

Frankly, for being a mom and ten times four to boot, I think she's pretty hot.

Taken with a loop type lighting set up with main about twenty degrees camera left, above subject, a white reflector camera right and below subject pointing up and a 1 x 3 softbox camera right behind subject for hair/rim. ISO 200 5.6 and 250 ss for all three poses.

I like the framing of 3, personally. I think that's an emotional reaction to the hair volume - the pose in three minimizes that bulk, in my view.

Thank-you Andrew. I think that's my favorite too. I do have a fondness for the vintage look and pose of number 3 though. That's most likely just a personal thing to me. I'm into that kind of thing.

Laughing.gif...I know exactly what you mean about the hair. I think the big hair thing is more appreciated by us over 50 men that came of age during the "Farrah Era". I still have fond memories of that poster on my bedroom wall.:D

    Bryce,
I was thinking how did you get a 10 yr old to project hot during the winter. Then I clicked and here is an awesome shot of a very pretty young lady. Nice job on both getting us to come see and the images. I bet she was happy with the results.

    Again, wonderful job

Great shot, it personally projects me to other moment in time.
    Thanks for posting.

I'm not a fan of the angles the light is striking her in the first two. Both leave her left eye in shadow. I much prefer the third image.thumb.gif
