For those who are wondering, I spoke with Alan at the Canon Repair Center in Irvine. Shutter replacement on the 5DMK2 will be about $350, before CPS discount. The CPS Gold level ($100/yr) offers 30% off repairs, plus all the other CPS perks like gear evaluations, cleaning, etc.
