Preselling packages?

Hi Everyone!

I have a question about how to use SmugMug when preselling packages?

Basically I'm doing a photoshoot where I offer three packages (multipictures allowed)

They are prepaying for these packages at the event. I want them to be able to choose the photos online and then order them. What's the best way to do this? In a perfect world they would choose the pictures and put them in the cart and I would take care of the rest, but it looks like I'm going to have to give them a code? What about factoring shipping in?

Thanks!

You have a couple of choices when you pre-sell packages.

    - You can create print credit coupons, giving them the amount they prepaid to use against their orders. This can work in your favor, as the customer may find more items they want, and ultimately make a larger purchase. The potential drawback is that they are not product specific. We do charge you for the cost plus our 15%, on these coupons, too.

    - You can create Events, and allow them to choose their favorites, and you can place the orders for them, from those selections. You can decide if you want to place one big order, and sort and ship or deliver it yourself, or if you'd like to place each order separately, and have them delivered to the clients. directly.

In the event one, can they choose them online, or do they have to email me and tell me which ones?

With the event feature, your clients can select their favorite photos for you to see. Note that they can only select the photos and not directly specify what print size or product they'd like.
