These are all really nice. Nice lighting, subjects that definitely catch the eye since they're not exactly what you see every day. I think you nailed the themes of a pirates/mermaid and japanese. Definitely unique photos.

Hmm... I've been looking at Meetup for groups but I can't decide which to join. Can you share some information? I'm not in IE but I may not mind driving out there for shoots like this.
