Bear Butte, SD

After a great day of snowboarding, I decided to take some of the less traveled roads out towards Bear Butte. I'd seen all the popular views of this South Dakota icon, so I think it was well worth a bit of aimless driving for this one. . .

    Nice picture, we drive the back roads in that area all the time. We live in Gillette and not a week goes by that my wife and I don't make a road trip taking pictures some where.

    Nice image!! thumb.gif I was stationed at Ellsworth in the early 80's. When we would travel to the missile sites we would go by here. Some fun times came flowing back to me. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.
