I took advantage of the full moon and shot a few pictures of it coming up over the water. This is the one I ended up liking the best.

I don't really like the fact that the moon is dead center. but other than that I think it turned out alright. Thanks for looking and please leave any comments or thoughts.

Very nice photo indeed! I'd have liked to see some texture of the moon but I understand that you need quite long exposure to get the creamy water-effect :-)
    Anyway I like the photo!

Isaac, I also like this alot, especially the shimmering moonlight on the water.

One of the techniques I have learned is to take two exposure and then blend them in PS. For example with this shot you would take another just for the moon, a shorter exposure for more detail/less blur. Then blend that moon back in replacing the blurred, fuzzy one but leaving the moonrays. Here is an example of this from Big Sur I shot last month: http://landandseaphoto.smugmug.com/Seascapes/Big-Sur-Seascapes/i-RqxrpGF/0/XL/10Feb121663Br2-XL.jpg
