Google indexing client galeries

Hello. Looks like google indexed my wifes client galleries and we don't want this. We have them all marked with passwords, changed the "hello world" and hello smuglers to NO. The gallery must be marked public so the client can still access their pictures.

Now from what i can tell, Smugmug does not allow users to modify the robots.txt file. Is there some other setting that I need to set to prevent google and other SE's to find private galleries?

I believe google is indexing keywords, etc from the images, which i don't want to remove on import (upload).

ideas?

With the gallery passworded neither keywords nor photos will be available for further search engine indexing. It'll take some time for the search engines to come back and notice that and eventually they should remove the already indexed content from their index.
You could try placing a removal request with Google for the gallery to possibly speed up the process. Just search for remove url on Google and the instructions should come up.
