Simple Redirect question

Hi there,

I purchased a custom domain name with GoDaddy and need to redirect the old: http://www.jlauren.smugmug.com/ to http://www.jaimelaurenphotography.com/

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

    Hi Jaime,

    Your SmugMug nickname address and custom domain address both work at the same time. If you visit your site with the nickname address, you'll see that clicking on your navbar, you're redirected to your custom domain so no matter how visitors access it, they'll be redirected to your domain while using the site.

    Okay, so I guess I used the wrong terminology then....just trying to figure this out. What I'd like to happen is that when someone googles "Jaime Lauren Photography", that the old "www.jlauren.smugmug.com" (along with the out-of-date, totally wonky-looking Instant Preview) won't show up--see attached Screen Capture. If you look at the screen capture you'll see the new domain name "www.jaimelaurenphotography.com" and the Instant Preview I'd prefer to show up. Anyway I can get the old smugmug one to stop showing itself?
