Questions, problem images for Dan Margulis...

I'm going to take Dan Margulis' advanced three day course next week in San Diego. I've already collected some questions and problem images, most recently the purple faces in the snow storm. I also have some shots with harsh midday light. And of course there is the question about noise reduction with modern cameras. I've been getting the hang of the portrait technique from Ch 16 and also HIRALOAM sharpening, but I hope to learn more.

Does anyone have a particularly good question or problem image? Especially someone who has read Dan and tried his methods to the best of his/her ability. Maybe we can learn something about it.
If not now, when?

Nobody has any really tough problems for Dan? What about some feather detail on those white birds? I've always found those a challenge. Wouldn't it be great to have a technique for that?

Come on. I have plenty of my own questions. The sweet light. How much to correct those cold wet faces. Help me remember some of our less than successful attempts.
