    I like the idea and I like the composition and depth of field of #2.

    My first thought was Put it (the strawberry) on a Golf Tee in the grass... my 2nd thought was to swing at it with a club! It is a nice red Green Combo.

    I prefer #1. Once again the oddball. It gives you the green without making it look like like "just a strawberry in the grass". Cute idea!

    Thanks for the comments and Sandi, I especially like yours because you picked up on precisely what I was going for. I have other strawberry shots along those lines which I may use but am exploring other things too. GP

    I also like #1, because the grass is blurrier.

    If you do want to go with the shallower depth of field of #1 and have less visible grass, I'd would suggest reshooting to get the entire strawberry in focus. That was my main issue with #1, it looks like only the middle of it is in focus. Just my thoughts.

    I'm with Sandi & Kate - I like the DOF in #1 but wish it wasn't so centered.
