Good morning. Since we are still in the midst of winter here on the Atlantic coast of Canada, garden flowers and insects are non-existent. We do, however, have some excellent florists. I scooted out this morning and bought some purple daisies to brighten my world - and to use for subjects on which to learn a few better skills in focus stacking.
I used the electronic StackShot on an Extended Rail with the distance between shots set at 1.5mm. Camera settings (Canon 1DMKIV) were ISO 100, MP-E65mm set at f/8, 1/250. Also used ring flash with a white coroplast backdrop set up on the table.
The following image was assembled in Zyrene Stacker from 5 images.
As usual, C&C welcome.
