I sell up to a dozen images at a time, but can find no easy way to download them.

- Download images one at a time- time consuming
- Download entire gallery in a zip- too many files, when I really only want some, not all

You can collect the photos you want to send to your customer into a new gallery and then use the download all feature to have the system to create a zip file for you.
Here is a link with more information about collecting photos in case you need it.

That's the work-around that I described. Yes, I can collect photos, create a new gallery, and THEN download the selected images, (and then delete the temp gallery).
Kind of clunky, don't ya think?
I do find it interesting that a whole gallery of virtual images can be downloaded, but individual images won't download unless you are in the 'original gallery'.
Example: local magazine requests a selection of images for submittal. I collect images from a variety of galleries and create a submission gallery.
Great so far, but not when they try to download an image. Whups, can't do that, because it's not in the 'original gallery'! Why?
Now I have to go to each and every gallery and download them, instead of from the gallery I'm showing my client.
I hope this will be viewed constructively, but there's much to be done between downloading a single image versus a whole gallery. It seems SM doesn't have
an efficient method to download a dozen or so images. Creating a temp gallery and downloading a zip of that require admin privileges, so a buying customer can't do that either.
I'm guessing this has come up before, but I found little when I searched for 'download images'. Am I missing something?
Right now the "download all" tool can only download a whole gallery and from what I can tell it works as described. If you have an issue with the tool, contact us at our HelpDesk with specific details so we can investigate:
