Finally, a photo I like

but I don't think I am quite through with it. This is full frame, was shot just like this, but it was shot through grass and there is/was a lot of yucky green ruining the "mood" for me. I have desaturated the green and the yellow, which pretty much just left me with blk, white and a hint of the red in the beak (s) of the Ibis (es). I tried to darken the top part to bring more attention to the lower, front, part of the photo. There is not a lot of DOF, and I wanted to use the top bird, but only as a background thing.
I am not sure there is as much contrast as I would like. I did get my bird watchers shot in a duotone on the challenge, so I am quite happy about that.
Meanwhile, my eyes are starting to burn, and I am very tired.
I planned to try to find the recreational shrimpers and "shoot" them this afternoon. We will see. Their season ends next Tues.
ginger (more than anyone wants to know........)
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

I really appreciate your response. I knew it was not "well" received, but you are the only one to say that it "needs something".
Thanks, I really do mean that I appreciate it. I could go on about the ways it would not be liked much, but there are many....................dark, OOF bird, backlit, maybe the composition.
And if you think this is bad, you should have seen it in full color with the yucky green grass.
I really did/do like it, but I can be strange.
Thanks again,
ginger
You liking it is all that matters, but compared to your Egret with Moss post in pales in comparison, JMHO you know
