Hi all,

one of my customers, asked me to create some new info pages about biological pools. After seeing several shots, he chose 2, which i don't think are the best but it is his call (he's paying..).

So, wich one of the photos above you think would better give the sense of a biological pool?

i don't see anything particularly "biological" about either one, but of the two, the first is by far the better shot... the second is so dark, you can barely see the water!

Ok, I will bite... What is a Biological Pool? Laughing.gif Because of my ignorance I will have decline my vote. However if I am just voting which image is more appealing to me I would vote for 2. Even if it is darker I still like the composition.

    Thanks for sharing

Yes, the second is drearily dark. I'd pump up the darker areas with curves or use the shadow/mid value sliders a bit and be careful not to make the highlights go crazy as they already appear blown.

    Thanks for all the comments.
I think i will go for the first one :-)

A biopool consists of 2 areas, one for swimming and another for natural filters, like plants and animals. Instead of having all those crazy Chlorine treatments, you get a natural biological pool. This one had lots of plants, several frogs and even 2 snakes. A complete circle of life :-)
