Just installed a OWC 6G Extreme Pro SSD in my 15" Macbook Pro(Late-2011) today. Unbelievable improvement. Not that a box stock quad core Macbook Pro was slow, but now this thing screams! Huge speed boost for photo and video editing, Photoshop, etc. Boots in less than 20 sec, shuts down in 1, resumes from standby in half a second. Internet browsing is even more responsive!
