Something happened to my website. I didn't change anything now I can no longer log in and my opening slideshow isn't working. The site is not functioning at all. HELP

I looked at your homepage in different browsers and the slideshow is showing up. It's just that the first half of your homepage has a black background and the remainder a white one.

About your login issue, can you not get past the "verify login" screen? If so, go to:
www.smugmug.com
and click on 'logout' at the top center. Then try logging in again.

Ok..so what is really weird is that I can't view my website on Firefox but can on other browsers. Its not just my website but other smugmug sites as well. I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox and it still doesn't work. no idea why!

Have you got any addons running in Firefox?
