I'm kicking around a few ideas on this challenge. Here is one:




For some reason this looked alot better in my head but it's a start. Any ideas on how to improve it or should I just scratch the idea and start over.:dunno

My son would love it.. he is a Texas hold-em addict.... as for the shot... can you crop it all in tighter from all sides... fill up the space more??? just my 2 cents.. errrrr make that $ 2 Million and I'll raise ya $1 mil.

How about a black or dark green background?

I like the concept of this picture.. The first thing I thought when I saw it was that the table should have some colour\texture to it.. maybe a table cloth or a wooden table where there is the grain of the wood..? Or of course a green felt type thing.. I'm thinking a card table.. Anyway I'm really starting to ramble lol.

I think a card table would be the perfect BG, it would really set the card playing mood.

Yep that would do it.. a black background would add to the mood.. a bit of cigarette smoke wafting across the table and a dim yellow glow as if a poker table light is hanging above.

Thank you all for the tips.

I was wondering about the background, now I know. I also like the smoke idea. I've got the weekend off and of course it's raining so I will have plenty of time to work on this.
