    i am no expert so take it as u will it is a nice shot but some areas are a little blown out i would also have got a bit lower if u can

    I suspected that I would hear "more contrast." :D And the verdict's probably right, even though I like a little less contrast than many do. The white and black points are set and I can't boost global contrast without losing things I don't want to lose. I'll try some localized adjustments. Thanks very much for the help.

    My guess is, more contrast is needed in B&W, because color can help discern subtle parts of the image
