Migrating Canada Geese

Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Canada Geese are making their annual trek northward for the spring and summer breeding and feeding season. Many stop over in my area along the Kennebecasis River near Sussex, NB, to plunder last year's corn fields and stock up for the next leg of their journey. These are but a few of the hundreds of birds in just one field that I visited this morning.

BTW - I changed my settings on SmugMug to delete the watermarks but it hasn't happened yet. I'll check back later. There's some delay at their end.

The watermark is a tad distracting. Snow geese are great subjects. I would try to bring out the shadow details in the subjects in my post work.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Hmm. Haven't seen any out our way, and I'm maybe two hours east of ya.

Hey, d'ya get a chance to go down to the Kingston Peninsula often? I want to shoot that area sometime this summer.

There were thousands of geese along the river stretched over several miles.

I'm around the Kingston Peninsula - basically anywhere in Kings County and beyond - all the time. PM me if you are coming up this way. If you have a particular place in mind, or type of shot, maybe we could go together.

True, Harry. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll play a bit more, and perhaps try a re-post (without the g.d. watermark).
