I have been experimenting with servo auto focus mode on my Canon 7D with 70 - 200mm F/2.8L IS USM.

Below my first "in focus" BIF.

C&C would be appreciated.

I like it because it is so sharp and clear, kind of an unusual angle, and you had great light on the bird and its face. It's eye really shows up nicely. I wonder if it would improve the photo to crop it so that there is less blue showing. Still, I like that the bird is shown in the left third of the photo so that it appears like it has room to fly forward. Great first BIF! Best, Pam

Thanks for the feed back Pam.

I would have liked to crop it bit closer but my lens is too small (that's what they all say :ivar) and there wouldn't be enough pixels left.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
