Lensbaby Experiments

A few from my Lensbaby. I like a lot of the Lensbaby shots I see from the experts (like Kathleen Clemons and Tony Sweet) but it surely is hard to use. I have the Composer Pro with Double Glass Optic, plus the Macro conversion kit. It's fun, but frustrating. C&C appreciated. I'd also like to see some Lensbaby shots from anyone else who is using one.

NOTE: I know #4 isn't extreme enough for the RJs but I decided to leave it as I shot it. :D

Thanks,
Lauren

It does create an interesting effect, doesn't it? The first one (birdhouse) doesn't scream 'special' to me - just looks kind of out of focus? But the next three? Yeah - I'd say you are getting the hang of it. The sunflower one stands out for me. Of course, I have no idea about using a lensbaby, so my comments are probably not worth a whole lot. Hopefully someone who understands the lens will give you some constructive advice :)

Thanks Ceci. The lensbaby is supposed to have a small area of focus, with a soft blur everywhere else. Getting the focus point is the hard part for me. I will let you try it next time we meet up.
