So many don'ts--fisheye, sunflare, ultra grain, centered, mega high contrast....I could go on and on--yet...
(shot w/ 35mm film @iso400)

Lesson taken from the fisheye toy--get even closer! I mean almost in their faces.

#1 almost has the 'peep-hole' feel to it. I actually sort of like it as I get the feeling I'm hiding behind a door looking out at the world around me.

Good to know thank you--I think next time I will keep the peep-hole effect when I crop. I took it out in #2 and it doesn't have the same impact.

    Thanks Scott.

    Thank you Russ.
I immediately pegged you for an anti-fisheye/purist street photographer.
Glad and surprised you like it.

    Thank you Damon.
I think my keeper ratio is pretty low for the fisheye--but it makes for some fun family candids--which I will not post here rolleyes1.gif.

    While I like #2, let's not treat #2 like a red-headed stepchild.

If it wasn't introduced along with another image - which invites
comparison - it would be strong by itself. That's a pretty ordinary
street scene (for you), but the fish-eye effect gives it a different
dimension. I wish the arc was carried out on both sides.

    Thanks Tony,
I've been having a little fun with it.
Plus it's so light, the shutter doesn't make much noise, it can slip into my pocket!

I originally only posted #1, then something about #2 made me want to post it also.
