Sync plug adapter

Hope I'm in the right area? I am buying a portable AC/DC monolight, but it has the larger sync plug and my the receiver for my flash trigger has the 3.5mm male plug. I have searched the net and the only ones I can find are for stereos. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanx:D

    If the flash trigger uses a 3.5mm/1/8" plug with only 2 connections (mono), Radio Shack and other music shops should have a simple adapter to try. There may be issues with polarity, but a modern studio flash should be safe to try.

    If you could be specific about which monolight and which radio slave, I could probably be more specific about adapters.
