Gallery Update Time

Hi All!

Thanks in advance for your help here. I have noticed a strange thing happening:

When I update photos to a sub-category gallery, the update time for this gallery is correct with respect to the date and time of the update. However, the update date/time of all other galleries in the same sub-category mirror identically the original gallery, even though no new uploads have occurred in the other galleries.

Sorry if this is confusing, so here is an example:

Category: 2012
Sub-Categories within 2012: 0112; 0212; 0312

If I upload new photos to the 0312 gallery, the update date/time that is shown for all the 2012 galleries will reflect the latest upload, even though I haven't uploaded anything to 0112 or 0212.

Hi Scott,

At this point the date updated and thumbnail for a category is always taken from the first gallery within that category. You can use the 'arrange' option within a category to position your latest gallery to the first spot in the category. That way the date updated would carry over to your homepage as well.
I'm sorry but there's currently no easier way unless you change your whole site to sort by "most recent" which would sort your site by the date updated.
