Whoa! I like that processing for this image. Someone posts something
in stark black and white high contrast and I think that's what I like. Then
this look pops up. Reminds me of Saturday Evening Post photos.
I think the customers are bored. That's natural when we have
to wait.
Great shot, Mole. I agree with Tony. Love the good mid-tones -- tones you just plain don't get in high contrast (otherwise known as blown-out-highlights) style.

Thanks Ben ! I had fun with my new toy .
Thank you for comments Tony ! I like the way it turned out .
Thank you Russ. Not to mention the loss of detail in the shadows, some work better than others .
Fantastic shot and processing. Would you mind sharing your PP technique?
Thank you Juano! This particular shot was taken in color with a Fugifilm X100 at an ISO of about 1600.
I think that the right mixture of contrasting colors ,textures, that were in the scene have much more to with the result than my processing. I did some basic adjustments in LR 4 -W/B and exposure uploaded the color version to Silver efex Pro 2.O and a bit of burning. I hope this answer your question.

Thanks for sharing. The level of detail, the shine of their hair, the grain of the wood work... I am amazed. This is the look I am searching for.

It wasn't very long ago that my B/W conversions totally sucked. I can only thank a number of people on the forum for steering me in the right direction, especially Rainbow,Ben,and Russ. So I am sure you won't have a problem finding a look you will be happy with soon.
