I would like to simplify the comments on my smugmug site. Is there any way to remover the spammer code that the user has to type in every time they comment? Or is there any way that they can log in using their Facebook account?

Thanks

You could password protect and / or unlist the gallery:
    http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93309-gallery-privacy
That way no captcha code should be required for visitors.

I had a friend log into one of my unlisted password protected galleries and comment, and they still were prompted with the CAPTCHA. Is there a way of getting rid of it for password protected galleries?

    Thanks.

I don't see that. As soon as you set a gallery password, no captcha is required for visitors in my galleries. Works with public and unlisted galleries that have a password.
I would suggest that you email us Heroes on the HelpDesk with a link to the gallery in question so we could take a look.
