Progressive JPEG / Retina iPad

I read today that the way to get the new ipad to properly render hiDPI images (like on apple.com) is to use the progressive-jpeg file format. Is smugmug looking into ways to integrate the "retina" experience on the new iPad? That would be...so awesome.
