Photo links vs embedded links

I know that the connection to an "embedded link" is easily broken in gallery settings. What about "photo links"? I completely deleted a gallery from which I had shared "photo links" externally. None of the photos are on my SmugMug account anymore, but the images still display where the "photo link" had been shared. How do I break a "photo link" connection?

Could you provide an example link that is still loading the image (despite being from a deleted Gallery)? This will enable us to take a look, to see what's going on :-)

The embeddable link isn't much different than the photo link. In fact, the displayed image on an embbedable link is actually the photo link. So if you break one, they both should be broken.

To completely break a link, you simply have to delete the image that corresponds to the image id and key on SM. Once you've done that, it's broken everywhere.

Now, if you're still seeing the image, I'm thinking it's a cache issue where your browser is remembering it. If you try another computer after it completely propegates SM's content delivery network (CDN), I'm sure it will be gone. thumb.gif
