    Hehe... How about a D700 and a Siggy 50-500

    Sort of knocks the hell out of getting closer... :D

    Roughly the equivalent of 750 cranked all the way out. Looks like that all right. In this case I really like the compression.

    Nah, the D700 is full frame 500 is 500, thanks again for the kind comment

    Well it was raining, changing lenses was not a good idea, didn't know what I was going to run into - so I opted for the range 50-500 and I used all of it.

    The site dynamics were good for it (with the rain), not much crowd interference in front of subjects

    If a street shooter has long glass , it can be used effectively

    Should have shot it with a fish-eye-- then posted the resulting image from the hospital where your trolley-smooshed body would have been taken.

    The perspective compression is what makes the picture.
