Some shots from a Belgian subway.. "Charleroi". Not the most pleasant place for photographer.

Indeed, I was told not to go.... but I did with a few friend photographers... Thanks for the comments.

Charleroi is the most ugly and dirty city in Europe, used to have a lot of heavy industry (Steel - Coal). That is all gone now all what is left is crime.

I don't know if I'd want to be a passenger on that system,
but I'd sure like to be there with a camera.

Very cool. Does the train still run through that station?

If you are able, I'd strongly urge you to return there often to shoot. The visual opportunity is amazing. Think more about composition, the light, and the various elements. You have a real diamond mine there - don't walk away from it.

TXS for the comments, this station is currently closed and off-limits. I got in because of a local who knows his way and pays the gangs , so that I could get access with little risk.
There is a lot more in that area, in fact the whole city is one photographic opportunity with some risk...

Lots of abandoned factories such as the one below with full access (illegal of course, however there are no fences or signs...)
