1 had potential. Cool spot for a shot, angle is a bit extreme so her face does not look relaxed.

I was a bit concerned with number two in that it seems stiff and tense. We are gonna do some more today. We were just out and about looking for a location to shoot and found this spot 10 minutes before the sun was down so we snagged a couple photos real quick

I agree, but I think more DOF would also work. You kind of got stuck in the middle. More DOF would make sense so she's not just a blob, or less DOF so she's just a blur.

I thought I had it just enough but not to much when looking at my cameras preview but I didn't realize when the picture is smaller it seems to have more detail to it than when viewed large haha. Hopefully the next time we are out I can get it just right.

Edit: just realized my typo in the first post. MORE DoF would have been what I was looking for
