I went to a park in the Texas Hill Country this weekend and was happy to see kids outside doing what kids should be doing on a wonderful day!!

This is one I really like. What do you think? Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Thanks Aaron! I did cloned out a leg and part of a chair that was behind her. It didn't look so obvious until I added the "painted" affect. I will for sure fix that!

Also the way I did the affect was pretty simple.
I used the Watercolor brush in Elements. Set the brush detail to max set Shadows and Texture to min. Then run the noise reducer at 100%
I also reduced the color saturation by 30% and played with the contrast and lighting a bit. That's it!

I think the processing effect is beautiful! While you're in there smudging up your clone, it might be worth trying to blend in the hole in that area as well...it might bring more attention to the subject, but then again, you probably have your own reasons for leaving the hole in there in the first place.
