    Erich this is a cool shot. thumb.gif (I wish i had thought of it.) The title fits very well too. I would be tempted to try something similar with the 'Knight' as the horse silhoutte might throw more shape into a picture but as i said I like the shot as is.
    How did you get the shot that red?

    Did you use a photo filter in PS to make it red?

    if i'm correct. he might have just done color balance on photoshop or he did Hue saturation. i'm not sure. but either of these will give you this effect.thumb.gif

    I agree with you about using the knight. Unfortunately I just have a cheapy chess set and the knight looks too lame.

    I took the shot with a yellow light and then applied linear burn in Photoshop.

    Funny...I like yours better. That was a nice B&W treatment.

    There are probably several ways of making the effect.

    Here's another version that's closer to the original.
