A few weeks ago Dgrinner cwphotos came to the SF Bay Area and it actually got us out shooting a little. I haven't seen Dean since the 2008 Dgrin Shootout in Moab. Good times!
We missed sunset, but that was OK because the fog covered everything anyway.
Who doesn't come to SF and shoot the Golden Gate Bridge? It's not unusual, but it looks different every single day which is really something special.
We also met a photographer with this cool automated tripod head. He would program in what he wanted and basically took all the shots of the pano for him. Talk about convenience. Anything that keeps your hands in your pockets out of the wind is a good thing, I say.
And looking the other way. Less impressive but the fog was rolling in over the headlands and the lights of Lands End was a beacon in the dark.
It's always great to see fellow Dgrinners in the flesh. Whatever you end up shooting doesn't really matter, then.
Cheers, and see you later, maybe!

sounds like a GigaPan head... you can make insanely huge panos with those things! great shots of the bridge, Stephanie... especially the first one!
