River Otter

This guy was as curious with us as we with him. Kept our respectable distance and he gave us a show. This is the largest river otter I have seen in a desert lake. They come down via the river and get into the lakes. They love the rocks and crevices. Hand-held from a moving boat.

    Yes, they are so fun to watch - they seem to enjoy life1 Thank you for your really kind remark. I was THRILLED to get a capture of one. I find wildlife difficult to photo!
