Depending on your point of view, I hope you’ll either forgive or indulge me for this small bit of family promotion.

My brother-in-law Devan Sipher has just had his debut novel published. “The Wedding Beat” is a semi-autobiographical story of a big city columnist looking for the same love and commitment he writes about in his newspaper features.

I’ve read through half the book already and it’s hilarious so I have no hesitation in recommending it.
