I can't believe I actually got time to shoot for a challenge and get started early. :rofl

I used two different types of post processing and was wondering if they could pass for 1912 and whether either of these images are challenge-worthy. Thank you for your input.

The PP on the second grooves my soul ... very close to the old-style pics.

    for this theme,

based on PP alone I really prefer #2.

based on subject matter & composition I really prefer #2.

based on what I just plain like better, #2.

so, just to be clear I think IMHO #2 is a good choice.

    :D
I agree wholeheartedly with Aaron....#2 is wonderful!

I like both. I agree with Aaron about the composition of #1, but I think #2 has a lot of interesting elements in the scene, almost three levels to it - the bridge, the small wall and shrubs and then finally the house. The framing of the trees is very nice and it has an interesting sky. And the post processing looks really impressive. Really nice!

#1 almost seems "too" clean if that makes any sense. #2 is simply awesome! Really like the deeper contrast in the trees & bushes & the highlights in the sky.
