And setting custom white ballance,It was a very dull afternoon so i was struggling with poor light shutter speed was maybe a bit slow

    No need to set custom WB... just shoot auto and in RAW, and you can always change it later.

    My guess is about 5500k would have been about right.

    Good shots though, push the ISO up a bit, or underexpose a bit and push the exposure in RAW conversion.

    Shot #2 is my fave. Getting low on the field is the key for rugby/football because they always have their heads down.
