Here is what I have for 100. However, could you please tell me how to distress it a little in elements 10? I want to put scratches and maybe a tear. But can not figure it out. Thank you

You might also be able to modify this tutorial. Begin from step 2 and instead of making a rounded rectangle, make a regular rectangle:

As for aging my photo, did the following: processed image by initially softly blurring it (using Guassian Blur), then Desaturated image to remove colour. Then used the Hue/Saturation to get the Sepia tone colour. Finally added some Noise, and white Vignette in the corners (at about 50% opacity so not solid white).
Gimp has a filter that does similar to this (Filter > Decor > Old Photo). Have found the other Antique/Aging filters overdue the aging look (eg photo #2).
