I just received sample prints from Bay Photo and EZ-prints. In most regards Bay Photo was equal or better than the EZ-print samples. That being said, is it just me or are Bay Photo's prints slightly thinner than those from EZ-print and Adoramapix (who I also use)? Not a big deal on the smaller prints, but it seems to make if easier for big printes to get wrinkled.

Which paper were the images printed on? Could be different paper.

Check the watermark on the back of the print, you'll be able to tell which pa[per was used.

I'm comparing lustre to luster, metallic to metallic etc. Unless they are using different types of paper to begin with.

The papers are and should be identical, coming from the same source. Glossy and Matte @ EZP is made on Kodak Edge paper, thinner than Lustre (from either lab) which is printed on Kodak Endura. Metallic is printed on Kodak Endura at both labs.

I just wanted to jump in here and thank you for this link. That was VERY helpful. I only offer lustre prints for sale as I feel the quality of the print and the paper is excellent. You've saved me a lot of time and trouble fooling with other stuff. Though I will try a sample of the metallic sometime soon just to see what it's like.
