First soccer pics of the season

Soccer season finally started today. I was armed with my new camera and new 180mm, f2.8 prime lens. I had a lot of fun today! Unfortunately, the game was at noon with a harsh sun. Any comments or suggestions for next week?

    Thanks, Troy.

    These were taken with my Nikon D2X. The focus on this camera is amazing to me. Quite a leap up from my D70 for fast action sports. This was also my first time using a monopod. I felt like a geek, but this camera is very unforgiving of any camera movement. These pictures were all taken downfield and are significant crops.
