I figured shooting something other than Easter rabbits would be fun today. First time using the flash in full sun and all I can say is, it really makes a difference and I think gives sharper edges?

Thoughts?

Good thinking, Scott! I've had about enough bunnies after today! Lovely colors! Best, Pam

Very nice captures Scott, well done.

They suppose to impress the female with their display of beauty.
I don't know if he succeeded doing so, but he surely impressed me.

Question: How can a beautiful bird like this have such unsexy legs?

I just thought they all looked like blue turkey's so I was thinking smoked turkey legs when I shot it!

Thanks for all the kind words. This was fun shooting.

Had you been a Roman, you would have roasted the whole bird. Pavone (Peacock) was a delicacy. Along woth honey dipped roasted dormice. :)

    Yum!

I tried the peacock the other day myself. Photographing, not eating :)

You did GREAT! Flash helps out a lot here!
