Uploader Problems

When I click on upload photos, the uploader is a skinny little bar and never really opens up to the full utility. All I get is the option to select another upload tool. Simple does not work at all. I was able to get Olde Faithful to work, but there's something wonky going on. Any help would be great - thanks.

Smugmug seems to be working, but uploading is borked. If you can get it to work at all, it misses files and quits before all on the list are finished. Tried Olde Faithful and simple. Just letting you know the problem is not on your end.

Thanks, Wayne - good to know. Luckily, I only had one small file to upload, so I'm not all that crazed by this at the moment - a tiny flea bite in my day but if I had a wedding to load I'd be totally arsed.

Hi Sara,

With the Simple Uploader you will need to allow Java to run. If you don't allow that, then it will appear as a small bar as you explain. There should be a pop up that will show that will allow you to "Run" Java. Please give that a shot. The Simple Uploader is working from here, and you will see on our status page that uploading is working fine: http://status.smugmug.com/

If you're still unable to get things going, shoot us an email, and we'll get you up and running again

Hi, Nick - thanks. I've moved on for the moment, but will (hopefully) remember this when I need to upload again, sooner rather than later.

Nick,

Your status page may say all is fine, but if it was, you wouldn't see Sara and myself having problems. I will give up for now and see if it works later tonight.

Sara, do try the HTML5 Uploader, it's the fastest one we've got
