Several weeks ago I spent a week in Zion National Park and had the opportunity to walk among a nice herd of mule deer enjoying the shade along the river.

They allowed me to get quite close and it was great fun.

These were all taken with an Olympus E-30 and the 50-200 zoom, some with the EC 14 teleconverter but most without. EXIF intact. Click pic for large version.

Neat series Jim. The first is my favorite.

I like the first two images. The third has a bit of a problem with color cast.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I like the way you have finished off your images with the border and titles. Nice images! They do have a slight bit of a magenta color cast on my monitor. Not a deal breaker though, I still enjoyed them. Thanks for sharing them.
