    Great shot. Do you use an ND 3 most of the time or do you have anything higher? Just curious.

    To take this shot I used ND 3.0, another words 10 stop filter. Apart from that I also use Hitech 1.2 ND. But recently I avoid using any filters. Its much more fun to take without them and obvieusly quality of the images is better as well.

    One thought though; it is great as-is, but to me it feels there's a little too much negative space. Maybe a slight trim off the top and bottom would work better concerning the composition of the rocks.

    hehe, no worries, many people say the same about trimming the bottom e.g to 2:1 format :)

    I absolutely adore minimalistic long exposure shots like this. Pretty much perfect.

    i very much like this shot... simple, yet very dramatic and eye-catching. only nit for me is that the rocks are right smack in the center of the frame, and i'd much prefer to see them offset somehow - vertically, perhaps, so as not to lose the smaller rocks on the sides... the bottom of the image is just featureless white, so you could drop the rocks down to the 1/3 point vertically, and see if that makes for a more pleasing image...
