My wife and I spend 6 months a year, for the last 7 years in Africa, concentrating on mamal and bird photography. However landscapes are increaingly used to show the animals in their environment. Our website www.africaraw.com only opened about 4 weeks ago and i have been editing in LR and adding +++ photos.

I realized today that the landscape portfolio has grown and would like to tell any Africa enthusiast's about it. I post one example of the great African skies.

H&M, beautiful portfolio and wonderful tips.iloveyou.gifthumb For easy of navigation, you should consider providing a link back to your main menu page (africaraw.com) in the various gallery pages so viewers don't have the hit the browser's Back button repeatedly or retype the url address.

Thank you for encouragement and advice
Than you all for the kind words. just what the brain, cholesterol, immune system etc etcneeds to keep us going for another 20 years!! We have repeatedly stated we want to keep going until we cant lift the heavy lenses or even worse we dont know why we are trying to lift them!!

Cuong the navigation advice about linking back to homepageis very important. thank you!!. I have myself been irritated by this problem. I will search immediately on the Smugmug tips on how best to do this. Super.

By the way I am at the moment adding photos all the time and still 2011 to come. So have a peep now and then. I will also add tips regularly, but at the time we didnt know we would have a website, so didnt take specific photos to illustrate points I would like to discuss. Will of course now do this. I do want to start a blog but this month has been a big energy drain fror an old brain. But hope to get Wordpress blog up soon.

Cuong, Allen was able to solve the Navbar problem in a jiff. I had hidden owner in gallery settings. Still waiting to kear how to get link back from individual photos.

Thanks again. Interesting how one gets punch drunk from all this screen gazing and how I just accepted the inconvenience..

You & Allen have really improved the visit experience of our site ++++++

Works like a charm. Now if you can get that for the individual nature galleries (Mammals, Birds, Reptiles,...), even a simple link for viewers to click to get back would be so much better than nothing.

Allen waved his wand again Cuong.

I dont understand how this strange solution works but I had to change in gallery setting "community" from wildlife to "none"

Too much for me to work out. Sometimes just believe.

Time to go watch English soccer replays.

    Thanks for your interest

    Much appreciated
