I've been spring cleaning photo files and found this one that I forgot about. I took this with my first dslr (d40) when i thought it was light to hike with. I would hope the photo would be better if taken today from a few things I have learned -- but I don't know that I could even hike in such rugged country today. :D

    It looks like a raptor will fly through any minute. i always wonder how trees can grow without much soil.
