Hazy afternoon

The colors were very gray on a cold foggy afternoon so I converted this to black and white. I wish it was lush green, but this was the dead of winter, last year. Comments and critique welcome. Exif

    Thanks, Ginger, Nir and Gubbs.

I forgot to say that I uncovered this shot in a huge directory of last years pics. I was going through deleting the chaff. If I had sorted these last year, I probably would have deleted it. I didn't have Photoshop then, only Elements2. I knew nothing about doing a high contrast b&w conversion. The picture was dull and colorless and the mist made it all seem soft and fuzzy.

I have learned a lot in the last year, with the help of my friends here on dgrin. Thank you all. iloveyou.gif

I like it. The sunrays add a touch of interest. The B&W was a good way to go - it was probably pretty close to monotone anyway right?
